Who designed the 1997 Château Mouton-Rothschild label?

Who is the artist of the 1997 Château Mouton-Rothschild label?

The 1997 Mouton-Rothschild artist label was drawn by Niki de Saint Phalle. She is a French artist known for her wild and colorful sculptures of female figures as well as her massive outdoor installation in Tuscany called “The Tarot Garden.” Throughout her career, she was politically outspoken, part of conversations in the 1970s and 1980s about women’s liberation, climate change, and HIV/AIDs awareness. She passed away on May 21, 2002 in La Jolla, CA at the age of 71.

Is 1997 Mouton a good wine?

1997 Mouton-Rothschild is not considered one of the greatest years. It was a warm and rainy year making wines which are more simple in flavor than the potential nuance they have in the best years. There is a lack of density in the wines causing them to have aged faster than vintages like 1996 and 1998. 1997 Mouton tastes like dark chocolate, leather, and potting soil. In this year, it’s a year for the label, not for the wine.
